Planning an Engagement to Remember
It is officially engagement season! Planning a proposal and finding the perfect time to pop the question is not an easy undertaking. It is the moment that both of you have been waiting for. You’ve found your person, picked out the ring, but what about the rest? Follow a few of our tips to make your proposal even more memorable.

Pick out a location
First and foremost, you have to figure out where you are going to propose. This is going to set the stage for the rest of the planning process. Do you want a private proposal at home, the park where you had your first date, or a restaurant both of you have always wanted to try? No matter where you decide, make sure it is the right spot for both of you. Don’t force yourself to get down on one knee with a large public display if that’s not what either of you wants.

Set the Stage
You have picked the spot you want to propose, now it’s time to design it. Even the simplest décor can add a bit more romance into your setting. Stringing twinkle lights, hanging lanterns or spreading out some rose petals and candles lights can be just what you need to set the mood. If you are looking for a more extravagant option, create a backdrop with drapery and florals or add some lounge seating for spot to cuddle up and relish the moment.

Spell it out
If you are too afraid to say it then spell it. In this case, writing out “Marry Me?” can make the event even more spectacular. The ways this can be achieved are endless! From florals, candles, balloons, and even a movie screen, get creative but don’t forget to make it thoughtful too.

Make it last
A picture is worth a thousand words so capture your special moment with a professional photographer. Not only will they be able to get shots of the proposal in action, but once you’ve gotten a yes, you’ll get an impromptu engagement shoot featuring all of the excitement and happiness of the day. These beautiful images will be keepsakes you two cherish for the rest for your life together!

Party of two
Keep the celebration going long after the proposal and set up a private dinner for two. This can be a table set up at the location where you proposed or a reservation at your favorite restaurant. This will give you both a chance to reminisce on your recent engagement over a celebratory dinner and bottle of wine. Expand this occasion to your closest friends and family for a mini engagement party. That way you can tell all of your loved ones at once!
