A Total Events Transformation can’t happen without a fantastic crew! We’re looking to expand our team of event professionals with self-motivated individuals who enjoy working on a team! We are currently hiring for the following positions:
As a member of Total Events' Delivery Driver & Warehouse team, you will be responsible for driving company trucks and loading and unloading of trucks. This is a very physical position that requires some early morning, late night, and weekend shifts. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for their work, are self motivated and a team player. Team members will be doing events throughout the Capital Region. We service a large variety of events from convention services to weddings, tent rentals, government functions, galas and more throughout the area.
Responsibilities:
-Deliver event equipment to a variety of locations in the Capital Region
-Complete the setup and/or breakdown of tents, tables/chairs, conventions, decor, lighting and more
-Follow and execute a specific event layout within a strict timeline as determined by the Production Manager
-Maintain and inventory all event, production, tools, hardware, and storage equipment
-Adhere to safety procedures, removing any obstacles and potential dangers from the event space
-Uphold Total Events standards at all times and follow all implemented policies and procedures
-Operate vehicles including, but not limited to, box trucks, forklifts, and delivery vans
Requirements:
-Commercial truck driving experience
-Safe Driving Record
-Strong sense of urgency and work ethic
-Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
-Self-starter and multi-tasker who can manage simultaneous projects
-Strong problem solving skills
-Ability to take initative and contribute ideas and solutions
-Focused and orgainzed, with attention to detail
-Excellent verbal communication skills
-Forklift certified, preferred
-Able to lift 50lbs or more
-Reliable transportation
Total Events is a full service event, wedding, and party rental company in Albany, NY. For over 20 years, Total Events has been creating TotalTransformations for weddings, corporate and non-profit events throughout the Capital Region. We are looking for a dependable, energetic individual in our warehouse to ensure proper distribution and return of equipment promptly and safely.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Work with Warehouse Manager to perform and Oversee Below:
-Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
-Load and unload trucks and delivery vans
-Maintain inventory control of warehouse
-Maintains a safe driving and working environment and adheres to safety procedures
-Prior warehouse or delivery experience a must
-Must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs
-Must maintain a valid driver’s license
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour
Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications
The Tent Installer will be responsible for working with their designated crew to safely load, transport, install, and break down tented events throughout Upstate New York. Tent installers are responsible for all manual aspects of event installation and breakdown. Tent Installers will be working outside every day, rain or shine. They will interact with high-end clientele and venues on a daily basis. They will report directly to the Crew Chief.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
-Tent installation experience required
-Be able to lift 75 lbs and have a full range of motion and dexterity as the work is physically demanding
-Need to be punctual and come ready to work in the morning
-Must speak English and write legibly
-Have good energy to move through tasks efficiently
-Must be able to work well with others
-Need to have reliable transportation to and from work
-Have great attitude
