Our Favorite Transformations: Hall of Springs
The Saratoga Hall of Springs is an undeniably stunning building without any décor at all; however, we love transforming the space to look completely different based upon the requests of our couples. Over the years we’ve seen many visions come to life- check out three of our favorite looks below!
‘The Marissa’ Design
The Marissa Design was inspired by one of our couple’s love for Tuscany. This look featured layered chiffon and sateen drapery in dimensional colors to give the space more depth. The varied colored drapery brought attention to the amazing columns without washing them out and was highlighted by soft up lights. Crystal chandeliers projected a gorgeous glow over the ceremony and head table. Custom linens and overlays tied the entire look together and gave the space an extra boost of personality and style. The beautiful stone in the hall was enhanced with soft up lighting and a custom monogram gobo light was used above the head table to further personalize the event. The initial Marissa Design also featured the “Marissa Settee,” a vintage-inspired burgundy sofa that echoed the deep red’s in the bridesmaids gown and centerpieces.
‘New Year’s Eve’ Design
For a New Year’s Eve wedding, we went with a more dramatic look that can be recreated for any couple looking for an upscale, black tie event. The columns within the Hall of Springs were highlighted with up lighting and black drapery is set behind the columns to create dimension. Tivoli lights hung over the black drapery, giving the illusion of a night sky. By setting the black drapery behind the white chiffon and using the Tivoli lights, this unique look "wow-ed" their guests. To make the sweetheart table pop, we featured our gold sequined linen from The Collection, which complimented the black linen on the guests' tables.
'The Suzi Ceremony’ Design
The Suzi Ceremony featured a unique, round ceremony arch dripping with Ivory sateen and chiffon drapery. The center of the arch featured a gorgeous floral arrangement from Surroundings Floral Studio and one of our stunning chandeliers. To bring this ceremony to life, the arch was elevated on a 2’ stage and the 25’ chiffon drapery between the columns created a romantic backdrop. Following the ceremony, we removed the staging and ceremony arch to reveal hanging chandeliers, drapery and warm Amber up lights.
