Ask anyone what they remember about a special occasion and 90% of them will tell you about the food. Trust me, whenever my father in law talks about my wedding he always starts with "I ordered the snapper and admired the filet next to me, so they brought me one of those too. Best steak of my life." That was 11 years ago. The way to many hearts is though the stomach and 2Shea Catering knows how to speak that love language. When we put together our Bring it Home photo shoot we wanted to inspire people not just with decor, but with food too. Many amongst us are not accustomed to entertaining at home and with our current situation, we have had to learn how. If you want to look like a pro, 2Shea can create and deliver a menu that is sure to please.
-What inspires your menu?
"Gathering" such a simple concept but something we are all eager for more of these days. The idea of sitting around a table laughing with friends or sharing a meal with the ones you love all paired with great flavors. Often times inspiration for a menu item or concept can come from the design, the cocktail, or the season.

Ask yourself how much you want to take on, and outsource the rest. Never be shy in knowing your own limits when entertaining and allow the professionals to help handle the other elements. That can include outsourcing menu items, and allowing our team to assist in prep and meal service, or working hand in hand with a great design team create the table feel that brings your meal home!

We have been lucky to be a part of so many intimate events this fall, and are thankful for so many clients that have allowed us to help them pivot the restrictions in place.
